The grid still depends on fossil fuels — not because we lack renewable energy, but because we lack the systems to integrate it reliably. Our mission is to shift that balance through technology: by building intelligent, decentralized power pools that respond to volatility in real time.

It takes a unique team to meet this vision. You will join our team in Leipzig with the possibility to work hybrid from home and the office.

The role

Support our security team with ISMS work: create, review and update policies, standards, and procedures (KRITIS, ISO 27001, NIS2)
Collaborate closely with the Gridfuse teams and management to improve internal processes
Help set up and run documentation review cycles and keep evidence up to date
Prepare material for internal audits (e.g., ISO 27001 controls) and track findings to closure
Coordinate with stakeholders (IT, engineering, vendors) and publish policy updates
Gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining an information security management system

What we need from you

Very good German skills (spoken and written), English is a plus
Strong interest in information security, compliance, and regulations
Willingness to dive into German compliance documents and standards
Good understanding of technical systems (IT infrastructure, software, cloud services) is helpful
Structured and reliable working style with a proactive mindset
Experience with Jira is a plus
Current enrollment at a university
